Formerly developed as Spanish Gourmet Extravaganza
Capella Singapore
Capella Singapore hosted two editions of the project under its earlier Spanish Gourmet Extravaganza format, a direct predecessor of what would later evolve into the Spanish Pantry Festival.
Held at one of Southeast Asia’s most recognised luxury hotels, the programme brought Spanish gastronomy, wines and artisan food products to Singapore through trade activity, tastings, wine pairings and chef-led dining experiences.
The editions included a professional showcase of Spanish food, wines and spirits, tapas and paella menus at The Knolls, Michelin-starred dinners at Chef’s Table, and a Spanish brunch with live stations, wines, beers and music. In 2019, the festival returned to Capella with award-winning Spanish chefs, signature paellas, bespoke tapas and wine pairings led by Jon Andoni, Best Spanish Sommelier 2018.
The collaboration with Capella Singapore helped place Spanish gastronomy within an exceptional hospitality setting and strengthened the model of working with leading hotels as partners for international culinary promotion.
