The Shilla Seoul, South Korea
The Shilla Seoul was a key partner in developing a week of Spanish gastronomy integrated into the experience of one of South Korea’s most recognised hotels.
The programme brought together 150 importers, distributors, sommeliers, hospitality professionals, gastronomic influencers and specialised media representatives. It introduced Spanish cuisine and products to the Korean professional audience through seminars, tastings and industry gatherings.
The hotel hosted:
-
Seminars on Spanish wine and gastronomy.
-
An exhibition area featuring more than 20 Spanish food companies.
-
A buffet for 500 guests, featuring Spanish products and live cooking.
-
A gala dinner with menus prepared by Michelin-starred chefs and paired with selected wines.
-
Gastronomic activities at local restaurants and a media outreach strategy.
The collaboration with The Shilla Seoul and the presence of the festival in other gastronomic venues across the city presented Spain in dialogue with Seoul’s local culinary scene.
